There’s something special about seeing your work leave the studio and find its place in a collector’s home. Recently, two large acrylic prints — both captured during an unforgettable trip to Katmai, Alaska — made that journey.
The Story Behind the Prints
A few years ago, I traveled to Katmai National Park in Alaska, one of the most remote and wild places on earth. To get there, you have to fly in on a seaplane — there are no roads. For 11 days, I camped in the heart of grizzly bear territory, sleeping in tents surrounded by some of the most powerful predators in North America.
It’s the kind of location that demands respect and complete focus. Every day was an exercise in patience, moving carefully through the landscape, waiting for the right light, and watching the incredible wildlife interactions that unfolded around us. The air was crisp, the silence immense, and the scenery beyond anything I could have imagined.

Acrylic Prints That Bring Alaska to Life
The final prints were produced on 6mm acrylic with an aluminium Dibond backing — a choice that gives them both depth and durability. Acrylic brings out a vibrant, almost three-dimensional quality, making the icy blues, rich greens, and fine details of Alaska’s wilderness truly come alive.
These prints capture more than just a scene — they hold the memory of the journey, the challenge, and the awe of standing in a place where nature still rules. Seeing them installed in a collector’s home was a full-circle moment: from the rugged terrain of Katmai to a curated interior where they’ll be enjoyed for years to come.

Why Collectors Choose Alaska Wildlife Fine Art Prints
Alaska offers a rare combination of vast wilderness, untouched beauty, and extraordinary wildlife encounters. For colle
ctors, owning a piece from such a remote and challenging location is not just about the image — it’s about the story and the connection to a wild place that few will ever experience.
My limited edition prints, including these from Katmai, are created with both artistry and longevity in mind. Each comes signed, numbered, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
